Service Description

Like all our workshops this is an informal and relaxing session that will take your mind away from everything else and where you’ll enjoy the process of connecting with clay… Come with a friend, family member or solo to meet other friendly folk. During this 2hr session you will learn how to build your own round-bottomed mug using hand building techniques and to make it your own using different textures. You will be guided through the whole process so is perfect for beginners and those with experience that want to try a different pottery project. There’ll also be time for the all important a tea/coffee break with cake! If you fancy something a little stronger feel free to bring your favourite tipple (it is Friday after all) and we’ll provide the glasses. Once you’ve completed your work, we will then fire, glaze and fire it once again for you. This process will take 4-6 weeks and we can then deliver your pieces if you live in Thanet or they can be posted to you (for an extra charge).
